Logitech Turns Virtual Nascar Partnership Into Reality With Bubba Wallace

Bubba Wallace and 23XI Racing will have a new look for the Nascar All-Star Race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.

Logitech, which inked an endorsement deal with Wallace in 2021, will be featured on the No. 23 Toyota for the exhibition event. For the first time, the virtual car that 23XI sported in the 2022 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series will become a real paint scheme.

“I’ve been an active gamer for quite a while and actually used a Logitech wheel when I first started sim racing,” Wallace said. "So, when I partnered with Logitech G in 2021, it was a natural fit. It’s been cool to have been with the brand for a few years and see not only the growth in the sim racing community but also the enhancements that Logitech continues to make to ensure their products are as close to the real thing as possible."
“We’ve seen some drivers start racing virtually before getting behind the wheel of a racecar, so it’s cool to see a paint scheme start in the virtual world before coming to life on my car at the All-Star Race.”

Logitech G is a longstanding partner with Amazon Prime. Ahead of Prime Video’s Nascar broadcast debut for the Coca-Cola 600, new content featuring Wallace and 23XI’s Airspeed facility will spotlight the ongoing collaboration and shared commitment to performance and innovation.

“Logitech G’s realistic force feedback technology, TRUEFORCE, is vital because it blurs the line between virtual and real racing,” Cory Church, head of gaming in North America for Logitech, said. "This translates directly to improved driver training and skill development, as drivers like Bubba Wallace can hone their reflexes and feel the car’s nuances. By enhancing racing proficiency, Logitech G’s sim technology also makes motorsports more accessible to wider audiences. It’s about creating a powerful tool, not just a game, impacting both professional and aspiring racers."
“Our partnership with Bubba Wallace has been incredibly rewarding, aligning perfectly with our focus on realism and performance in sim racing. The current collaboration is strong, and we’re excited about its potential. We’re committed to exploring ways to innovate and enhance the experience for both racers and fans, so continued growth is certainly something we're aiming for.”

Wallace has never won an All-Star Race before. He finished second in last year’s All-Star Open before finishing sixth in the main event.

“I think the All-Star Race will be a great event to showcase the Logitech scheme,” Wallace said. "For one, it’s a huge race with the chance to win $1 million. I think it’s also a weekend where things are a little more relaxed and we can have some fun, try some things that we may not try with points on the line."
“Virtual racing is a great entry point into motorsports for people who are curious but maybe don’t know where to start. A lot of people may not have the chance to race a vehicle in real life, but virtual racing can help provide some insight and appreciation into what it takes to be a driver. Anything that can give someone a better understanding of racing is ultimately great to inspire new fans, drivers, or crew members.”
