This weekend, McDonald's will serve as the primary sponsor for Bubba Wallace at Watkins Glen International. However, the car will look very different.

23XI Racing stated, “Making our way to McDonaldland with a stop in Watkins Glen.”

McDonald’s recently announced the return of McDonaldland. The return brings a signature meal featuring a Quarter Pounder® with Cheese or 10-piece Chicken McNuggets® as well as a specialty shake.

Every McDonaldland Meal comes with one of six exclusive collectible tins featuring postcards, stickers and more.

McDonald’s characters like Ronald McDonald, Grimace, Birdie, Hamburglar, Mayor McCheese and the Fry Friends made their debut in the 1970’s via various TV commercials. However, they’ve been absent from meals for 20 years.

“Over the past few years we’ve seen how fans flock to our characters, everyone from Grimace to the HamburglarJennifer,“JJ Healan, the chain’s vice president of U.S. marketing, brand, content and culture, stated via press release.

“But many, especially the new generation, don’t know that’s just the tip of the iceberg. There’s an entire magical world of McDonaldland filled with characters, places and lore.”

“And so, for the first time in decades we are taking fans on a trip to McDonaldland with an immersive experience that taps into the past to create the future. It’s a chance for us to give fans a new, modern way to experience this magical world.” 

Bubba Wallace recent grabbed his first win of the 2025 season. With the win, he’s now locked into the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs.
